Using two sensors separated up to 1m (3’) the technique uses guided and bulk waves to detect corrosion, cracks and other defects on tank walls and plates.
- Non-Contact EMAT technique.
- Attenuation technique using guided waves and bulk (shear) waves.
- Available for plates up to 75mm (3”) thick.
- Detects corrosion and pits and cracks as small as 10% of thickness.
- Manual and automated options available.
