CNC MILLING PARTS (EMAT)

Ultrasonic EMAT thickness measurement of metallic components using a sensor and instrumentation fully integrated into a CNC milling machine.

PRIMO TG-MILL is designed to provide non-contact, couplant-free thickness measurements on metallic components from one side using ultrasonic EMAT (Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer).

The instrument and sensor in PRIMO TG-MILL have been customized to be fully integrated in a CNC machine using a standard spindle attachment. The system features accurate and real-time thickness readout, and saves a complete and traceable record for later post-analysis, tracking and process monitoring.

Features

  • Non-contact, couplant-free ultrasonic Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT).
  • Pulse-echo sensor configuration generates and measures the time-of-flight (TOF) arrivals of ultrasound reflections between the ID/OD surfaces.
  • Time-Of-Flight measurement accuracy equal or better than +/-0.0002” (5µm) on parts with a thickness ranging from 0.020” to 4” (0.5mm to 100mm).
  • Readings unaffected by liquids, debris, or metallic dust on the part.
  • Integrates instrumentation, sensor, and cabling with the toolholder. Instrumentation is custom-designed for the application. Sensor compatible with HSK-100 and HSK-125A. Other tools available upon request.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
