CNC MILLING PARTS (EMAT)

Ultrasonic EMAT thickness measurement of metallic components using a sensor and instrumentation fully integrated into a CNC milling machine.

PRIMO TG-MILL is designed to provide non-contact, couplant-free thickness measurements of metallic components from a single side using ultrasonic Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) technology.

The PRIMO TG-MILL instrument and sensors are custom-designed for seamless integration into CNC machines via a standard spindle interface. The battery-powered instrument transmits real-time thickness measurements wirelessly to a base station, which communicates with the CNC controller for fully automated operation.

Features

  • Non-contact, couplant-free ultrasonic Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) technology.
  • Pulse-echo sensor configuration generates ultrasonic waves and measures the time-of-flight (TOF) of reflections between the front and back surfaces.
  • Time-of-flight measurement accuracy of ±0.0002 in. (±5 µm) or better on components ranging from 0.020 to 4.0 in. (0.5 to 100 mm) thick.
  • Measurements are unaffected by liquids, machining coolant, debris, or metallic dust on the inspection surface.
  • Fully integrated instrument, sensor, and cabling within the toolholder. Custom-designed for CNC integration. Standard compatibility with BT30, BT40, HSK63A, HSK100A, and HSK-125A toolholders. Additional spindle interfaces available upon request.
  • Battery-powered with approximately 8 hours of operating time and wireless charging.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
