The overall objective of the ISTAP project is the design and development of a new dual system for the inspection and structural integrity assessment of petrochemical storage tank floors. This system will include both external and internal inspection capabilities during maintenance tasks to provide a holistic view and a level of real-time information regarding the tank floor's structural health that has never been seen before.
