Job Description:

  • Analyze complex problems and phenomenology with focus ondeveloping models to process and understand signal data faster, more accuratelyand more efficiently.
  • Participate in R&D initiatives for the development ofinnovative detection, estimation and classification algorithms and techniquesfor advanced applications.
  • Transition operational signal/image-processing basedalgorithms to real-time systems and/or prototype demonstrations.
  • Prepare and conduct publicly funded international researchprojects.
  • Brief work to colleagues, and at workshops / conferences.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Analyze complex problems and phenomenology with focus ondeveloping models to process and understand signal data faster, more accuratelyand more efficiently.
  • BA/BS, MS or PhD degree with relevant experience inelectrical engineering/signal processing, physics, applied mathematics orrelated technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 + years applied signal processing and/or machinelearning experience, including pattern recognition / classification.
  • Solid mathematical and analytical skills with basic understandingof the physics of wave propagation.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype algorithm concepts and ideasand make insightful decisions on research directions to enhance systemperformance.
  • Excellent writing and communicational skills.
  • High level of English, spoken and written (Working language).
  • Experience in proposal writing for the Horizon Europefunding programme is highly desirable.
