Sales & Marketing Engineer Portable Equipment

 We are looking for a high-energy Sales & Marketing Engineer to promote and sell our new line of portable equipment.

• Qualified candidates must have (do not apply if you don’t have all of them): 
• University degree (preferably 
• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial.
• Ability to travel 25% of time.
• 5 Years of Marketing and Sales experience.  

 Other desirable characteristics:

• Good knowledge of Non Destructive Testing techniques.  UT preferred.
• Experience selling portable test equipment.
• MBA or marketing degree.

The responsibilities of this job include:

• Liaise with the research and engineering departments to prepare technical materials used in the sale of the equipment (e.g. application sheets, technical specifications, brochures).
• Write technical papers, and prepare presentations for technical forums.
• Write application procedures and customer manuals.
• Provide equipment demonstrations and training.
• Contact and introduce our company to prospective customers, through training and sales seminars.
• Participate actively in sales and marketing strategy.

• Permanent, full-time position located in Lynchburg, Virginia.  Only candidates living or willing to relocate to Lynchburg should apply.
